The End of Binge

So i finally finished the book and it was awesome and one of the last chapters was the funniest ones it was called "What Michelle Obama Smells Like" and it was hilarious it talked about the time he interviewed Michelle Obama and how was the whole experience of meeting the first lady and all that, according to Tyler Michelle Obama smells like apples. So at the end of the book he says that the book is for his people and that made me really happy and i was happier when he announced that there will be a documentary about him called SNERVOUS you should go and see the premier was this Saturday and as soon as I can i will obviously go. There are some sneak peeks of the film in his channel and it looks amazing. The book was incredible absolutely amazing its a work of art it has everything a reader could ask for and more I really hope for another book by the amazing 26 year old born in march 22, 1989, author and Youtuber Mathew Tyler Oakley.

When I finished the book

When he announced SNERVOUS

"If there's one thing worth binging on, it's making it work." (Oakley,303)

This is at the end of the book and I like it because is like saying the best thing that I get from doing something that i worked hard on is see results on other people and I think that is a very nice thing to say because he is not like I do it for money or for fame he does it to help people through things like eating disorders, coming out things that usually no one does.

  "for my people." (Oakley,308)

This quote is my favourite from all of the because because is the last sentence and because it says my people and there is something in those words that makes me happy every time I read it it's like saying all that is in this book all the effort applaud to create it is for my people the people who support me and I'm glad I'm one of those people.

So I finished the book and you don't have an idea of how much I loved it. It is now one of my favourite books now. I will totally recommend the book to anyone who likes to read humorous writing.  Binge is for people who like people who are energetic and unique because Tyler Oakley is one of those people. I can't believed I finished the book because now I don't know what to do I obviously need a second book when you start reading the book you just can't stop its so funny and unique that is impossible to stop. The book is certainly unique i haven't seen a book like this one in which the don't go chronological its not like telling a big story the book is full of small stories that form a person and I have never seen that in any books I have read so far.

A Little of Everything

In the next 6 chapters he talks about so much topics that they don't have nothing to do with one another. One of the topics is her mom and how they are so much a like and how she always supports him. Other topic was about weddings and how they stress him out. Then he went and talked about his dream job which is what he do right now each is making videos and actually he doesn't see it as a job but as a hobby. He also talks about the time when he interview One Direction and how he almost fainted in the middle of the interview with all the excitement. Is impressive how he can change so easily from one chapter to another and still make them have sense.

WHEN HE INTERVIEWED ONE DIRECTION.
This is Tyler and his mom, Jackie.

"What can I say she is always there for me." (Oakley,213)

The quote is from a chapter in which he talks about his mom and how she supports him. I like the quote, actually I love when Tyler mentions his mom because the love that he feels towards her is forever and i think they are so alike for example in some videos they have so similar personalities. I don't think they look a like physically but in their personality

"Through out my now eight years online, I've found that what I want to give to the world is my decision." (Oakley,244)

This quote was in the chapter were he interview One Direction. Before interviewing the band he took a 3 month hiatus from Youtube i know it doesn't look like much but for him was eternity and he took the hiatus because the internet was asking for too much from him, so he took that decision. I think it was very wise from Tyler to act like that and to say that he is going to give the internet what he wants.

So we are getting closer to the end of the book and i don't know to be excited or sad because of all the fun I don't want it to end but at the same time i want to ended so I still don't know what to feel about finishing the book. Because we are so close to the end I want to say that the book so far has been one of my favourite books and usually I don't like so much books about like this but i actually loved it I think that part of the reason why I loved it was the fact that I felt I knew this person and all this just by seeing his videos and because of the way he writes.

Tyler Oakley is Talking About Random Stuff

The next 5 chapters talk about random stuff, that Tyler decided to put for fun . He tell us 20 things he would do if he were to be Beyonce for a day like for example sass people on Twitter or polish her Grammy's. I thought that chapter was so funny because i never thought that on a book about a life of someone I would find a chapter like this. There was another chapter called "Unnecessary Holiday Traditions" about why we have holidays we really don't need like St. Patricks Day or Columbus Day. The chapter was particularly funny because I actually agreed in some of them. These type of chapters is what make the book unique and Im sure that you will not find these random funny topics in any other book and the interesting thing is that its not jut the topics that are funny but the way in which he talks about them with so much energy.

When you read those random chapters

"But he turned out to be great. Sure, we had our differences, but he respected me and my lifestyle, as I did his." (Oakley,126)

The quote is from a chapter in which he talks about his first serious relationship and how it got all ruined but still he doesn't regret it happened. I didn't picked the quote because of the context it was used for but because I think is very important to accept differences. I really think the quote is saying that even though they were different they accepted each other and they loved each other and I think that is a wonderful thing.

"I'm young, and I don't have all the answers. I'll probably make a ton of mistakes before i figure it out." (Oakley,177)

This is quote was in a 2 page long chapter in which he talks about how he always fell in love with the wrong person. He also mentions that he it grateful that he did because that helped him learn from his mistakes and that without him being in those situations he would probably had to go through so much worse. I really like the quote fist of all because it says that he would probably do it again and if he does he is going to learn from it, and I also like that I am sure that the quote is not just referring about love but about everything in life.

This part of the book was incredible because of those random things. I loved how he incorporated those chapters and i think the reason i loved them so much was because with the majority of the things to do if he was Beyonce or the unnecessary holidays I pretty much agreed to most of them, they were so accurate of what  everyone thinks but don't say. Reading those chapters made me think that i was watching one his videos because most of his videos are talking about random things like this. Those chapters are the ones that make you realise you are reading a book by Tyler Oakley.

Coming Out is a Process

In the next 6 chapters Tyler  talks about some important stuff that make him become who he is and why he is successful. He talks about his years in high school and college participating in musicals and in drama cub. Then Tyler tell us a story about a incident that made him understand that if he wants to be successful he needs to stay on the ground and always be himself. After those chapters he dedicates several chapters for the fact that he is gay and how his family managed that. Apparently his dad was not supportive and he treated the topic as if it was a mental disorder and wanted to fix it this is why Tyler and his dad won't talk. While he explain this problems he had before and after coming out we can see that it is not easy to do this especially for Tyler coming from a extremely religious family, luckily his mom was really understanding and always support him in everything. As I continued to read the book I realised that he is someone that really never thought of being famous and that is why he hasn't changed since he started his Youtube carrier.

My face when His dad didn't accepted Tyler

"Finally, a good mom is supportive of you,but the best moms are supportive of your growth. Even when it doesn't seem like they are on your side, great mothers are on the side of you becoming a better person." (Oakley,68 )

I think the quote is significant because it was said on the chapter in which he understood he has to keep his feet on the ground for him to succeed. It was about his mom being the factor that made him understand this and i love that he recognise that his mom has support him since he started. I just think the quote shows how much love Tyler has for his mom.

"I was so overwhelmed that I only remember snippets of what he said to me, things suggesting that this was my mom and stepdad's fault, how I was doing it for attention, how this was just a phase, how it was a sin, how it was a choice." (Oakley, 87)

I was really sad reading this quote because I can't imagine a dad not accepting his son as what he is. Its incredible how wrong he is saying that its just a phase because it clearly not and i can't imagine how Tyler felt because its his own dad and he is also saying that the fault is of Tyler's mom and his stepdad when they were the ones who support him.

The book is incredible so far and its so catchy that when I was planning just read 2 chapters I ended up reading 5. My favourite thing about the book it that explains every situation like in a conversation he doesn't really use elaborated words and most of the time he won't use capitalisation nor punctuation rules. Because of this type of writing I think that it makes me feel that I'm connected to the author and that I understand how he feels and thinks. I really liked that he added so much detail about the relationship with his dad and his family handling with him telling he was gay, another interesting thing in the book it that he added how was it coming out to some of his important friends and I liked that he added that.

Mathew Tyler Oakley

Binge is a book written by a famous 26 year old Youtuber named Tyler Oakley. The book is full experiences of his life since his early years and is written in an informal and funny way so by reading it you really feel a connection with the author. As you read the book you can understand clearly Tyler's personality which is open, funny and outgoing. I really recommend people to see some of his videos before you read the book so you can picture how where all the experience he talks about and like hear how he would read it to you. Tyler begins the book telling us that his full name is Mathew Tyler Oakley and only his family members know it so letting us learn that about him is letting us understand him better and get closer to him. Some of the topics he talks at the begging of the book are things like why he don't like birthday parties, how he started his first job selling lemonade with his sister and his eating disorder. So those are just some of the topics we can find in the first 10 chapters.

His success has been so big that he even went to the Ellen Show!

"And now you know. But for me to give you Mathew right off the bat... that's me trusting you. It's me saying hi, welcome to my life, not everything is pretty or perfect or edited with jump cuts. That's Tyler. You know Tyler. It's time for me to tell you all of Mathew's stories." (Oakley, 4)

That's the last sentence of the first chapter and I think it's really honest of him to tell us that there is another side of him and that not everything is pretty of perfect like we seen in his videos. I think it's really interesting how he is separating Tyler of YouTube from Mathew who we were about to get to know.

"I always get asked why the background of my phone is a picture of orange chicken; it's my reminder not to run from my wolf anymore." (Oakley, 44)

I personally think this is a very powerful quote because his talking about his eating disorder. The very start of this paragraph talks about how a friend of him Hannah Hart has a painting on her office of a girl walking on a forest side by side with a wolf and she said that the picture reminds her not to run from your fears. Tyler is saying that he consider his eating disorder a inner demon and I think is very wise of him to make a connection with the wolf in the painting.

The book is so realistic because he not only talks about his success and the events he have participated but he also talks about his sad and difficult time like his eating disorder how his parent didn't accept him and thought it was a mental disorder when he told him he was gay, and how he was poor growing up. Most of the chapters in Binge are hilarious and happy talking how he interviewed lots of celebrities like Ed Sheeran, Nick Jonas, Lady Gaga and millions more, how he won a teen choice awards. The book also has parts were it talks about what Tyler likes and what he hates and I think that a big reason why the book it so good and its because most books like this just tells achievements and things that went bad in the persons life but this book really let the reader get to know Tyler Oakley.

The Will Grayson's

So I finished the book and it was awesome. The book finished in this terms: Maura and Will #2 talked and they both apologized, Will #1 and Jane end up together, Tiny and Will #1 are now best fiend again, and finally Will #2 and Tiny we don't know how they ended their friendship but I
think they are good now but here goes why we don't know for sure. Will #2 was not sure to go to Tiny Dancer but finally he went and he made a plan to contact all Will Grayson's close or in Chicago and when the show ended all Will Grayson's told him they appreciate him including Will #1 and Will #2. There were around 8 Will Grayson's in the audience when all the Will Grayson's finished saying they appreciate Tiny Cooper, all the audience begin to tell him that. And the book ends there so i really don't know what happened with them but im pretty sure they will be good friends, but not best friends because thats Will #1 place.

When I finished the book...

"But you're one on my speed dial and I want you to stay there and I'm sorry I'm a terrible friend, too." (Green, 259)

This quote is from when Tiny and Will #1 where finally going to be best friends again. The quote just express that Will #1 didn't want to loose his best friend and he didn't want that to change even if both them have disappointed one another. I just love that at the end they ended up being best friends like at the beginning I was so afraid that it was going to end up with them fighting.

"ten-year-old boy: hey. i'm will grayson. the fourth. my dad couldn't be here, but we both appreciate you, tiny cooper" ( Levithan,308)

This is one of the people in the audience telling Tiny that they appreciate him. I know i said i was not liking Will #2 but I think that the fact that he did this shows that he is a good person. When all this thing happened at the auditorium I think how hard was for Will #2 to do this in front of the whole audience, because of what we had learned about his personality he is very quite and that but this action showed the opposite.

So finally I finished the book and I loved it specially the chapters written by John Green which were the ones of Will #1, I think that maybe I liked those chapters more because my favourite book is by him is called Paper Towns. Going back to the book I would say that everything that I wanted to happen happened like Jane and Will #1 end up together and Will #1 and Tiny being best friends again. I also loved the plot of the story I have never heard of a book like this, in my opinion the book was incredible and funny.

The Fight

I feel the story is falling apart because of everything that is happening. First of all I thought Tiny and Will #1 will be getting along but it was the opposite now they don't even talk, but the other problem appears when Tiny and Will #2 get on a fight. So Tiny went to visit Will #2 on his school and when Tiny saw Maura he went to confront her about the Isaac thing, but Will #2 got angry because he would've had prefer that he would not talk to her at all. Then they went to talk about that and Will #2 ask Tiny like 7 times why Tiny is even friends with someone like him and Tiny got really mad because he asked that every time so he was so angry that he left.

Thinking of all the fights on the book.....

" I think about how much depends upon a best friend" (Green,193)'

This quote is Will #1 talking about his friendship with Tiny and I think that at this point Will #1 thinks that he don't have best fiend anymore and I am blaming Will #2 for this because it it wasn't for him everything would've been perfectly fine. I just want everything to go back to normal with Will #1  and Tiny.

"i am so mad at both of them right now" (Levithan,237)

This quote is just after Tiny went to talk to Maura and I think Will #2 is saying this because Tiny knew that Will #2 preferred not to talk to her at all, and Tiny broke that "rule". If I were Will #2 I will also be pissed at both at Tiny because he talked to Maura and with Maura because that incident like made him remember the problem with Isaac.

I am liking the book so far but I think is being more about Tiny cooper than about the Will Grayson's. I would like the book to talk more about Will #1 and Jane that storyline is my favourite and they almost not mention it at all. Thinking clearly I blame Maura for the problems between Will #1 and Tiny because if she hadn't pretended to be Isaac, Will #2 had never went to the middle of Chicago and him and Tiny would've had never met and Will #1 and Tiny's problems would not exist. I just want to make Tiny disappear so I have more content about Will #1 and Jane.

Tiny, Jane and two Will's

At this part of the story both lives start to connect, Tiny and Will #2 are getting closer because of the Isaac incident, and finally Will #1 and Jane admit that they have a crush for each other. Tiny and Will #2 are trying to see each other more often but is hard because of the distance and because this new project that Tiny is working on, its a musical called Tiny Dancer about his life and his friends. While Will #1 and Jane had they're first kiss and it was so cute, but now they don't know hoe to tell Tiny without being awkward . The sad part of all this is that the friendship between Will #1 and Tiny has change a lot because Tiny talks more with Will #2 than with his best friend also now they fight very often about everything.

When Jane and Will #1  Kissed...

"She's cute and she's really smart in precisely the right slightly pretentious way, and there's a softness to her face that sharpens everything she says, and I like her, and it's not just that I should be honest with her; I want to." (Green, 131)

The quote is just showing how much Will #1 likes Jane and the quote is just before the moment where they tell each other the truth about their feelings. I think the quote is important because all the way from the beginning to now Will #1 has been denying his feeling for Jane but finally saying this he is being true tu himself.

"i have this deep pang of jealousy, that o.w.g has a friend like tiny." (Leviathan, 151)

This quote if from when Will #2 and Tiny are getting to know each other. The quote I think it shows the fact that Will #2 has never had a real friend because he thought his best friend was Isaac and that he finally found one but Isaac doesn't exist. Will #2 calls Will #1 o.w.g that means other.will.grayson.

Im curious of what would happened if Tiny finds out about Will #1 and Jane, I want to see how he would react. Also I want to see how Tiny Dancer turns out because I had read something about that at the beginning of the book but I didn't mention it because of 2 reasons the first one is that i really didn't thought it was important (but it turns out it is) and second is that at that point I didn't understand the book that well. I wish the relationship between Jane and Will #1 continues because I love the idea to make them be together, and if Will #1 and Tiny are not gonna fix things or get on a major fight i swear i will die.

Meeting

In this part of the book is where it got really interesting because Isaac and Will #2 where going to finally meet so they decided to meet in a coffee shop in the middle of Chicago. While the same day Will #1, Jane and Tiny went to a concert on the middle of Chicago too. When Will #2 arrived Isaac hadn't showed up yet so he waited. On the other hand Will #1 and his friends went to the concert but they needed a fake ID to get in but Will #1 didn't had one so he stayed outside, because he was cold and hungry he enter to the same coffee shop Will #2 had enter! Will #1 order something to go and when his name was called Will #2 thought someone was calling his name so he went to the counter to ask why they called his name and the cashier told him he wasn't calling him and he pointed Will #1. So then Will #2 asked Will #1 name and they both realised they are called Will Grayson. Both had to wait, Will #1 for the concert to end and Will #2 for Isaac to arrive, so they talked. Time passed and Will #2 got a call for Maura and here is the part were all got messed up because it turns out Maura was playing to be Isaac to got closer Will #2! Will #2 was obviously so sad and shocked and angry so Will #1 tried to calm him down, when his friends arrived fortunately Tiny was able to calm down Will #2 by making him feel like Tiny could be his next good and real friend, and so they started to bond. Also at this part of the book Will #1 was having a crush for Jane!

That was actually my face when they met and when Maura told Will #2 that she was Isaac.

"The kid looks at me for a second, his head turned like he thinks I might putting him on, and the finally he says, "Because I am also Will Grayson."" ( Green, 110)

This is maybe the best quote because it is so exciting to see how Will #1 sees the situation and how he reacts. Finally they met and its so real and the quote its the climax of all the purpose of the story that was that they meet and that i think that they will be able to help each other im their problems.

"i hang up before she can say anything else. i switch off the phone. i sit down on the curb. i close my eyes. and i scream. if my whole world is going to crash down around me, then i am going to make the sound of the crashing. i want to scream until all my bones break." ( Levithan, 122)

I would say this quote is one of the saddest quote I have read on the book so far because its so sad that Will #2 told everything to this character Isaac that he truly believed was real and the saddest part is that it turn out to be someone that he didn't even like to much. It is so cruel of Maura to have done that because of all of the excitement that Will #2 had when he thought he was finally going to meet his true best friend and also it was so cruel to make Will #2 go all the way to the middle of Chicago at night for nothing. So the quote is just showing how devastating was for Will #2 to realise that his possible new best friend dosent exist and its his not friend Maura.

This part was what all the book was about and im happy that it was shown in a special way. The Isaac incident was really sad and im hating Maura so much. So far the book is great and most important for me is real because although the Isaac thing is horrible i would've been disappointed if Isaac was perfect and all that because most of the times things don't work out so im happy that John Green and David Levithan made it real.

Will #1 & Will #2

This book written by John Green and David Levithan is a story about two teenagers both called Will Grayson. The book is a quite intense but its pretty funny. It is written in a way that one chapter is telling the point of view of one Will Grayson and the other chapter is telling the point of view of the other Will Grayson. The book starts showing the life of the Will Grayson that lives in Chicago and his best friend is Tiny Cooper. Besides Tiny, Will has more friends like Jane, Gary and Nick. For now on I'll call this Will Grayson , Will #1 so we don't get confused. Moving to the other Will Grayson, who will be called Will #2, also lives in Chicago but at the opposite side. His friends are Simon, Maura and Derek but Will found a best friend online, his name is Isaac and he lives in Orlando. The thing with Isaac is that he and Will haven't really met in personSo the first part of the book is just an introduction to the characters and a look at their lives.

This is a close reaction you'll get if you read the book because its really confusing at first but you want to know if they will meet.

"Follow two very simple rules: 1.Don't care too much. 2. Shut up." (Green, 5)

This is a quote from the chapter of Will#1 explaining he has never cry since he was 7 and he avoids problems by following those rules. I think that in this quote his personality is expressed because he just avoids everything therefore he doesn't confront his problems and its not good for him. I also think there is going to be a point in his life which the rules won't work anymore.

"she got her answer, but it didn't exactly inspire trust. " (Levithan, 61)

This quote if from Will#2's chapter talking about his friend Maura who always get a way to get answers by putting you really uncomfortable by asking a lot of questions. You can see that the friendship between them it's not real. Will #2 doesn't trust Maura and I believe he doesn't even think of her as a true friend maybe not even as a friend.

I realised the chapters of Will #1 were written by John Green and the chapters of Will#2 by David Levithan, I saw this in a video of John Green talking about the book and with that information it all had more sense. The fact that is written by 2 different people and in 2 different styles, make the book more real, and there are 2 completely different ways to express the story. An example of that are the chapters written by John Green follow's the capitalisation and punctuation rules, while the chapters by David Levithan don't use them. He won't even use them when starting a name nor starting a new sentence.

The Island

We left of when Jacob found the letter from Miss. Peregrine on a book. As you remember last time Jacob asked his parents if he could go to the island his grandfather lived, but they refused. Starting with the new part Jacob begged his parents to go to the island they would accept only if Dr. Golan thinks its a good idea. When they asked Dr. Golan he said it would be a good idea to visit the island to make it like a closure for Jacob. He was going with his dad for 3 weeks and he was hoping for answers. When they arrived they looked for a place called the Priest Hole where they had booked a room, this place was also the only restaurant in town and the only phone in the hole town. When they finished packing they went outside to check out the Cairnholm, they stopped in a fishing store and Jacob took they opportunity to ask the man in the store where the orphanage was the man looked confused for a minute and then he told Jacob that he thinks what he is talking about but that its in the woods and that he shouldn't go alone. The next day he found a guy that would take him his name was Dylan they went far but then Dylan said that is forbidden so from that point on he should go alone . He found a big old house mostly destroyed  he knew that was it. When he enter he realize it would be impossible that someone could still be there, he left because it was getting dark he was going back to the Priest Hole but he was coming back tomorrow. In the Priest Hole he found his dad in his laptop on a table he sat next to him and told him about the old house then his father said he didnt want him to get hurt and told him a story. He said that when he was kid and his sister too (Jacobs aunt) they found a letter from other woman to Grandpa Portman saying that she misses and loves him but they never knew the name of the woman. Jacob a little confuse, angry and sad went to his room. At the next day he went back to he man at the fishing store to ask him about the orphanage an the kids he took Jacob to Oggie he was the oldest person in town and he should know what happened to the the kids and the orphanage. Oggie said the kids were a collection of strange people but then he said that the orphanage was that way because there was a bombing Jacob ask for more detail and Oggie said that he would never forget the sound and the feel of that night the date was the third of September of 1940. Then Jacob got a quick flash of other last words of his grandfather they were that date the exact same date, Jacob felt confused s he left. The next day Jacob went to the house again, the house had 2 floors when he was searching for clues on the second floor he notice lots of holes on the floor but they were so deep they went all through the first floor to the basement. Jacob was about to go down stairs and he fell on one of the holes, the basement was dark but he found a box when he open he  found similar pictures like the ones his grandfather showed him as a kid. When he was trying to look at the pictures in the dark he heard some voices upstairs, when he went upstairs he saw a bunch of kids creaming the name Abe. Jacob asked who they were and immediately they run outside the house and disappear into de woods .I really dont know what will happened next.

Double_reflectionthis is one of the pictures jacob found.

´´ I could think of only one explanation. My grandfather´s pictures had come from the trunk that lay smashed before me.´´ (115, Riggs)

In this quote we can assume two different things, we can assume that he thinks all is still a lie. Other thing we can assume is that Jacob actually now believes all what his grandfather had said him all his life and maybe now he have more hope in all what he have seen and believe in the past few months.

In this part of the book i think its getting pretty interesting and my biggest questions are who are those kids, why there were holes in the floor and why the kids were screaming the name Abe. I think all the kids are the new kids of the orphanage but that makes even more questions like they should be old by now or were is Miss Peregrine and where are they living if the orphanage is destroyed with holes all over the second floor. I really want to know whats up with does kids and will Jacob follow them or not.

Grandpa Portman

If you look for a book about mystery and suspense, Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children is a perfect choice for you. All began when Jacob a boy who lived in Florida grew up listening and believing all the stories Grandpa Portman told him about his life in a orphanage with peculiar children and monsters they used to fight, on an island called Cairnholm. Grandpa Portman used to show Jacob pictures of  the kids on the island, at first Jacob believed every single word his grandpa told him but years later he told his grandfather he didn´t believe in his stories nor the pictures. While Jacob grow to a teen Grandpa became a little insane at least thats what everyone thought. When Jacob was 15 Grandpa Portman called him and was very desperate talking about the monsters were coming to get him, Jacob as always thought it was some of his weird stories but he called his dad just to tell him what had happen on the phone. Jacob´s father ask him to check in his grandfather, when Jacob arrived he found all the house a complete mess but he still looked for his grandfather. When he was about to leave with no idea where his grandfather was he found a flashlight on the floor facing the woods, he thought maybe his grandfather dropped in his way to the woods so he went to find Grandpa Portman. When he was deep in the woods he saw his grandfather in the floor dying his last words were something about Jacob going to the island and finding the bird because his not safe there anymore, Jacob as always thought his grandfather was crazy while  he called the cops and sob he saw a face in the woods but it had six tongues and it was tall and thin. After all that happen Jacobs parents send him to a  therapist named Dr. Golan because he was having nightmares about that monster and he kept thinking what his grandfather last words meant.Sometime had past it was Jacobs birthday he was turning 16 he wanted for this birthday to go to the island even though he was pretty sure there was nothing there but he wanted to see what the orphanage and the island looked like. His parents didnt let him go so he was really mad at them. One week later Grandpa Portmans house was about to be sell so he went to help his dad and his aunt to clean the house, he suddenly remember another thing his grandfather said one moment before passing away they were Ralph Waldo Emerson. He thought it was someone who lived in the orphanage with him so he took the opportunity to clean the house to find something about this guy. On the house he found letters from friends but non from Ralph Waldo Emerson, suddenly he knock a box and some books fell out one of them catch his eye the title was Words of Ralph Waldo Emerson he then understood something important was in that book. While turning the pages he found a letter it was from Headmistress Alma LeFay Peregrine then he figure that peregrine is a bird so that was what he meant by finding the bird he wanted Jacob to find Miss Peregrine. That is it for now but i want to see what happens next.

this is one of the
pictures Grandpa
Portman show Jacob

´´´My solution was to stop leaving the house. For weeks I refused even to venture into the driveway to collect the morning paper. I slept in a tangle of blankets on the laundry room floor, the only part of the house with no windows and also a door that locked from the inside´´ ( Riggs, 39)

In this quote we notice how bad was Jacob when his grandfather died and how his nightmares were affecting him and with this quote I question if Mr. Golan is doing a good job helping Jacob. If Jacob is really getting help from Mr. Golan I am sure he would be better by now and he certainly isn´t.

I would like more backstory of Grandpa Portman and learn more about this peculiar children and Miss Peregrine i actually want to know more about every character. For example we still dont know why or at what age Grandpa Portman was sent to the orphanage. I am really excited to know what Jacob really saw on the woods maybe it wasnt even real and if it was real what was that. Cant wait to read more.
